Effective: April 13, 2026
Fire Legasy ("the Game") is operated by R. Cooper Snyder. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Account data: When you register, we collect your email address, a display name you choose, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Game data: When you submit a score, we record your score, the biome you reached, and the snake element you used.
Server logs: Our web server logs IP addresses and request metadata for operational purposes. These logs are automatically rotated and not shared with third parties.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a Hetzner cloud server located in the EU/US. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections to the site use HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). The server is firewall-protected with only ports 80, 443, and 22 open.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. Your display name and scores are publicly visible on the leaderboard by design.
Fire Legasy is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
